Amb

i searched it.. read it in the manual

but still dont get it

what it does it changes your inside temp to the outside calculated temp??
is that right?

I believe the AMB button only changes the units from Farenheight to Celcius - the display is still outside ambient temperature.

The manual has the definitive answer, but I believe you'll find it agrees with the above statement.

When I push the AMB button, the display either stays or dissappears. I think it's an on/off button. Kind of useless.

but when i press it... it shows like 16 degress C and it gets real hot in the car even tho my climate contol is on cold

ONLY if u hold it down it changes

the amb display is for the outside ambient temperature so regardless you turned on your AC to the coldest or not it wouldnt change the display..

and pressing the amb button is just switching the display on or off but like Hitman said if you hold it the display will change between celcius and fahrenheit
