Am I supposed to be waiting for a letter for recall?
Hey, I have an 04 manual and I would like to get the reacall and new flash, but I have recieved nothing in the mail telling me to go. Do I need to have paperwork to give to a dealership in order to get the recall/flash? Can I just make an appointment?

If your experiencing symptoms attributed to the recall then yes, I'd call the dealer asap. If not, just wait for the letter. This will all work out over time I'm sure.

If you are talking about the thermal damage recall then the the campaign will prolly be open for your car; it was on mine even though on the Mazda site it said no recalls....but i wouldn't worry about rushing out to the dealership..i had to go in anyway so they went ahead and took care of it. Plus you will be back in august anyway for the ball/ joint deal so you might as well knock off two birds....
