Yeah, she does pretty good for herself. It's a competition in the house to see who makes more. Right now I'm winning, hence the RX8.

Yeah I think he'll fit in just fine around here.

Welcome!

I think OrificeNinja would have been a funnier screen name though.

Lol, I hear you on the Sales Manager thing. I said the same thing to myself when I started the job, but I do more "relationship management" than selling anything.

Thanks for the extremely warm welcome everyone. I can't wait to photo my new whip like the porno star I know she'll be.

Dealer e-mailed me this morning... everything checked out ok... turbothrusters are go... FORM VOLTR... wait. No. That's a cartoon.

Wow, thanks for the warm welcome people.

Here's what I'm looking to pick up.

2007 Galaxy Grey Mica

Touring Edition with black cloth interior (had leather in every car and it's too slippery on the track!), Appearance package, Rotary Accent Package, Rear Wing and a bunch of other bells and whistles that the dealer is throwing in. Oh, and my dealer has the anti-chip clear bra film so I'll pick that up too.

Originally, I went into this looking for a Velocity Red GT Package with everything... but then I started to realize that I don't NEED everything. I also found out that going and ordering a car through Mazda is pretty involved, and I'd have less negotiation room on the bottom line. So basically, the local dealer had 2 of the GGMs in, and 1 VR auto. They looked around for me and found another 2 cars, both with leather. I'm just going to offer them $500 under invoice and see what happens.

I'd try for more...read my post...

And a warm welcome...by the way, there are females her also.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I like females.

As for the $500 under invoice, I REALLY meant to say $500 below the incentives and $800 closeout pricing. I keep forgetting about all of that.

Fortunately, the dealer I went to (Flood Mazda in Wakefield, RI) printed me out an invoice sheet for ALL of their available RX-8's on the lot. They also printed me out the incentives available, and helped me grab the $800 rebate off the web.

So far so good. I go next week to seal the deal.

excellent 1st post - obviously a post ***** somewhere!

grats on the 8. tho maybe the dealer forgot to tell you black is the fastest. oh well.

def plenty of local goings-on in the NE section. tho it sounds like there are quite a few 8's in the mystic area . . . perhaps someone should set a meet around there. wives & GFs love outlet shopping . . . aqauriums . . .

just sayin

Congrats and welcome- ^ reds are faster but silver is the cleanest color around - can go weeks without washing it and you wouldn't notice the difference - although GGM is a good "concealer" color too.

Sorry errrr,,, congrats on being a newlywed. I myself am 8 months into this jungle called marriage. So far so good. Good to see you have a toy inside the house and soon, outside the house!
