Air Filter

Is an aftermarket air filter worth it? I am thinking of putting a K&N air filter in the the airbox; nothing fancy like a cold air intake, just replacing the factory filter.

I'd save your money for something else. . Paper filters will filter better and won't risk getting your maf dirty from k&n filter oil. The factory system was very well designed.

Nothing wrong with K&N filter as long you oil it correctly. I've had mine since I bought the car 10 years ago. Engine going strong. MAF is fine. I clean it annually anyways it takes a few minutes..... It's ridiculously easy. K&N is economical in the long run for me over stock throw away. The stock air intake is well tuned for this car.
