The key fob on my 2006 rx8 works fine manually, but the keyless door handle buttons/ignition doesn't. Not a big deal, but every time I get in my car I have to slide that stupid little mini key out of the credit card style key fob to start the car.

Regardless, I have to purchase a second key since the car came with one. The dealer quoted me $500 for the fob including $120 dollar programming.

I know for about $200 I can get a viper remote start/alarm/keyless system. My question is, does anyone have one? Any thoughts on the aftermarket vs stock?
