if you use heavier oil(your cousin too) then it might saved your stationary bearing so you don't need a new one.
look at my FC bearing compare to new FE bearings. the FC bearing came with the engine in my FC that "obviously" had a lot of miles. consider the rotor housing looks like ****(but it STILL runs), and it was using nothing but Synthetic and heavy weight oil
odo of my FC has 210K miles. I was told this engine was a rebuild but consider the rotor housing condition, I call it a total bs.
*for those who are blind, top is FE bearings, bottom is the old FC bearings*
see? I could have re-use that Rotor bearing without any problem. but I went with RX-8 bearing anyway cuz I simply can't refuse it's price.
Your engine looks alright for 100K miles.
Why would you want to use 1 piece corner seal?
and what "race seals" are we talking about ?
and is that locitie red ? is that needed for the stationary gear bolt? I just use blue and I think that's more than enough. I only use Red on the Big front bolt and the Flywheel nut.

Heavier synthetic oil ive always used on all my rotary engines and I been real satisfied with it , I'M a Royal Purple fan for years depends on miles I use 10-40 or 20-50 depends on time off year and the abuse I give it lol . Looking nice can't wait to be in that process.
