Is this a normal thing? Like a cooling of the car? Sometimes on real hot days, after I turn the car off and walk out, it sounds like it turns back on, from the intercooler, Im guessing its normal? Thanks guys.

Perfectly normal on hot days or after extended driving. The fans will kick for a while and shut off automatically.

You CAN manually shut them off (check your owner's manual) but I do NOT recommend doing so, just let them run and don't worry about it.

As for the 04's: those came with weak batteries and the Crank / No Start TSB should have fixed that issue. If you're isn't an 04 or an early O5, you've got nothing to worry about.

Mine did that today, however; since it is very warm in detroit today so i didn't think anything of it.

I remember driving my 8 on days like THIS and wondering, "hmmm, wonder how long the fans will stay on when I get home?" 10 minutes later...still going!
