Just wondering if anyone knows how to tell the 6 disk from the single disk player.

have you tried putting any cd's in, seems to me that this would be the best way to tell.
do you have any cd's ???? and have you tried this already??? must none "gt 8's" come
with only single disc, although some could have up grade to a 6 disc.

 

if its a 6CD, it would say on the faceplate. /end.

Maybe hes referring to what I been expierencing, I just never questioned it. Mine says Load on the side and has disc up and down and all of that on the radio itself but seems like it wont let me load in a second cd. I press load and everything and nothing happens. Yes I read the manual.

 

I dont have the manual, No power to it so I cant test it, Im just looking for some kind of way of telling, like whether it says something on the front that is different.....

 

the load button will always be there whether you have the 6 cd or not... same concept as a sat radio button if you dont have it.

As already said it should say on the faceplate of the player and if you cant load more then one disk then you prob dont have it lol....

What exactly does it say? Does it actually say 6 disk? In that case Im assuming that this isnt.... darn

You are supposed to just press load then it will say disk with a number (1-6) flashing. It pretty much tells you when to insert "IN" would be flashing.
there is also a sign that says 6 disk

 

OH MY GOD PEOPLE, I DONT HAVE POWER TO HOOK IT UP TO!! otherwise Id just throw it in a car n find out myself.
