55 rx8 - problems on acceleration

Has anybody had any problems with their rx8 on accelearion and a whoosing sound of air audible in the cab of the car upon driving?
mines a 55 plate only done 50,000 miles

He's in the UK guys.
Sounds like you have either a bad vacuum line or a problem in the air intake, before the manifold.

its like the air is heard through the heater vents , drives absolutely fine apart from like a gush of wind sound coming into the car on acceleration in all gears. mothing heard on gear changes

at what RPM you hearing this? above 7k?

I have the same problem, it is hard to describe. But as your driving your car it sounds like your window is slightly down. I think its a bad seal somewhere. Its kinda hard to check for it while driving. Ill have my passenger look for it next time i drive see what we find out. Also on the bad acceleration if you haven't gave your car a good tune up lately that could be the problem, like the coils are a big culprit if ur running bad ones.
