After 4 months of having the 8, I enjoy it and it a great every day commuter. I still miss my S2000 for the top down fun and more raw road experience.

However, I added something to supplment the RX-8 nicely. You can see the picture.

This way I can still have wide open summer fun on mountain roads and have my 8 for every day driving.

Yes. That should compliment the 8 nicely. Hopefully, you are in a place where there is nice weather year round to use it.

Funny I have an 8 and have been looking at an SV 650s too...My buddy has the 1000 and I love the thing...just need to find that extra cash.

I was originally looking for the R6. However, it has been 12 years since I have driven street bike and the R6 is a unforgiving bike.

I worked out a great deal on a new one with all the Micron Mods, etc for a lot less than MSRP since it is getting cold in this part of the country and the '05 model will be out in January.
