3mm Apex Seals in Rx8

3mm Apex Seals in Rx8
Hello everybody,
Thought I would make a separate thread for this topic. What are the pros and cons of getting the rx8 rotors milled to accept 3mm seals and installing 3mm seals? Would my engine then far out last any 2mm 13msp's? Also, would this be a good upgrade if I were to turbo my car in the future?
Sorry for my ignorance, I have no idea what I am talking about and I am just trying to learn and I did search. Just trying to make the most of getting my engine rebuilt.
