328 miles on one tank... second half of 1st roadtrip
Yeah, I know - this could've/should've been part of my last thread "308 miles... " But with all the negative posts regarding mpg, I figured another postive thread was in order.
So, on my return trip today (500 miles) I logged 328.6 miles on one tank. The light came on at 314. I drove almost all of those 328 miles at 70 mph, with the AC off, never above 4,000 rpm, just me in the car... can't imagine conditions that will allow for better range/mpg.
When I stopped to fill up, I put 13.5 gallons in. That means I had more than 2 gallons in the tank! I could've pushed it for 48 miles more
24.34 mpg... with the performance numbers, I can live with that

Similar story here. I just finished a trip to and from Pittsburgh. Me and one passenger plus luggage for a weekend stay. Averaged around 70 mph on almost all interstate driving. Used the A/C almost the whole time. And it involved some hilly driving on the Turnpike.
On the way up, I got to 332.9 miles before stopping for gas. I was getting pretty nervous as the needle was on empty, but when I got to the gas station and filled it up, it only took 13.9 gallons.

each time I fill up it costs about the same...I just forget the frequency that I have to go to the pump, bad memory can be a good thing
but one thing I don't forget...I love this car enough to go poor for it!

Although I can't verify it, I got 27mpg out of one trial from LA to Las Vegas. From this and other trials I'm pretty sure going at 63-67mph does wonders for mileage on this car. Unfortunately, driving that speed during daytime on I-15 is like walking backwards in a shooting gallery. Most people drive 80-90, so at ~65mph even one of the truckers got mad, and decided to cut me off after almost passing me, but when I was still at his back tires. So even if 65mph is worth testing mpg-wise, I wouldnt recommend it unless on nearly empty roads.

Best I got was 25 mpg (MT GT) following slow RVs around yellowstone park. rpm around 2500-3200. Our cars do the epa rating if driven normally at the speed limit. Otherwise watch the needle drop.

Everytime I take a road trip and do nothing but highway driving I get over 300 miles on a tank. Typically, the light comes on somewhere around 290 miles and I'll drive till around 320 miles before stopping to gas her up.

really? i thought we have a 14 gallon tank this whole time. so we have 2 more gallon after the light comes up? which means we can drive for another 30 to 40 miles?
