I received the following email from a friend of mine who moved to Florida two weeks ago:

Subject: Guess what I'm looking at?


If you guessed the first 3-rotor RX-8 in the states, you'd be right. I'm at the 24 Hrs of Daytona right now, and there is a brand new RX-8 race car right here. They spun it in the first hour so now it's in the garage, and I'm watching them fix it. I'll get some pics iif I can, but I forgot to bring my digital cam! Anyway, just wanted to let you know what I'm doing in Florida.....oh and FYI, the 3-rotor was keeping up with the 400+ hp Porsches :-)

It should do more than keep up, it should be passing them with its 900+ hp.
