Still getting notices. Car is still on jack stands. Not that I really care about the airbags; non-airbag steering wheel installed, I’m guessing they want to see the car and install them rather than letting an owner bring the old ones in and swap them out?

 

I think you are supposed to bring the whole car in since they have to put a sticker under the hood to show that the recall is done.

And dealers probably won't be impressed to see you removing the airbag yourself, not that the airbag is hard or dangerous to remove if you take all the safety precautions...

 

They might not be too thrilled to have me back it out of the trailer in full race trim, lol
