2011 Mazda RX-8 R3 Pictures
Here are some pictures of my newly acquired R3.
:: 15,000 miles - completely stock when purchased
Modifcations
----------------
:: BHR Ignition System
:: 19x8.5 +35 Work Emotion CR Ultimate Wheels
:: 235/40/19 Michelin Super Sport Tires
:: Ohlins Road and Track Coilovers, Front: +12 clicks from hard, Rear: +15 clicks from hard
:: Suspension professionally dialed in and corner balanced.
The pictures don't do the paint job justice - when close up you can see an awesome gold/bronze flake in the paint - really helps high-light the bronze wheels.
The Ohlins Road and Track coilovers are fantastic, they offer a compliant ride yet somehow remain firm when driving aggressive.
There's a small amount of rubbing when driving agressive - I'm having the fenders rolled next week.

I appreciate the comments - thanks for taking the time to post.
I still have the original R3 wheels - they're great wheels (just a lousy offset).
I could have used wheel spacers, but I'm not a big fan of them.
The Work wheels are heavier - probably 3-4 pounds a corner, but they go very well with the red paint and the gold/bronze flakes. I've always wanted a set of bronze wheels and decided to pull the trigger.
I can say that every time I get in the car (even for a short trip), my face has a big grin on it. I previously owned a 2009 GT for 3 years, and for some crazy reason decided to sell it. Every car I've been in since has disappointed me, so I decided I had to track down another 8.
Cheers.
