2006 model year info.

I really need some info on the new changes. I doubt any of the other 21000+ members of the board thought of asking this, so I didn't bother searching. And, I don't read stickies, they're for n00bs and I have had the net since the 90's.

Lets just put all the info in one thread, this one.

I heard from my sales manager's brother that in 2007 it'll have 800hp to the wheels and be able to fly.

That would be a good idea. You get 3 reposted thread topics, then a 3 day ban. 3 more, 1 month ban. 3 more, gonzo!!!

I know a service manager's sister's cousin, and the fact is that Mazda will be adding ten new colors and discontinuing the existing ones, fitting turbochargers at the factory to all the AT models, providing laser jammers as a factory option both front and rear, adding an automatic water injector to each rotor to deflood, an oil sprayer option for tailgaters, and all-wheel drive.

Then again, according to a guy at the gas station who once talked to a writer for a Famous Car Magazine, Mazda is discontinuing the RX-8 completely and no new models will be made at all.

I hope this helps answer the question.

I was told that my 2004 was really a 2006, and that it was a special edition release being sold back in 2003 via time travel.

I heard from a very good source in mazda that all mazda cars will have a rotary opcion in 2007, that the cx-7 will have a 20b, the new coupe will have a 20b and be the next rx-7, that theres is a car in the work with a 4 rotor turbo 1000 hp to be name the rx-10 an take on the bugatti , that the rx-8 is gettin a 15b 3 rotor engine with side and peripheral ports and direct injection

but nothing is known about the 2006 RX-8

My bad, I forgot that the Mazdaspeed version will include the extra options: 4-rotor engine and special color: "invisible".

Well, yes and no. I mean, sure, it's gonna be in the new movie, but with that invisible paint job...ya won't be able to see it!

Gives a new meaning to the term "clear coat".
