Exclamation 2005 RX-8 repair reimbursement PLEASE HELP!

Hello Guys,
I have a 2005 Rx-8 shinka,the engine blown one and a half year ago and i paid $4500 to get it fixed by Lucky 7 in South Cali,and i just realized Mazda offers 100K warranty and i heard i can get reimburse from them,is that true?
Can i get it now?
does anybody know what is the step?

You may not be able to get reimbursed, since the repair occurred after the warranty was announced and notices mailed to every RX-8 owner on DMV record. Most reimbursements are for repairs done prior to the warranty being extended.

he can probably get it reimbursed, thats if u never get the notice, cuz if the original owner of the car never update his address info with Mazda(happens often), they will not know who is the owner now.

My bro still getting mails for his car about some recall after his car was totaled like 4 years ago and insurance already sold it to someone else.
