well, I'll try and post the odometer pic tonight. Of course, I could've taken it off my previous car (275000 miles when sold).

I haven't notice any drastic change in consumption (as it should be). My guess is about 1 to 1.5 quarts of SYNTHETIC OIL every 5000 miles.

Elf: nice to hear you're getting the BHR coils, your current setup works well but when that damn ignitor box goes out, it's a PITA.
When did you buy it? (I wanna calculate miles / day)

haha, lets hope not.
I was trying to figure out approximately how many miles a day you put on that beautiful Shinka of yours.
Assuming you bought your car July 15th:
July 15, 2006 to Jan 12, 2011 = 1,642 day
200,000 / 1642 = 121.8 miles PER DAY
you're an animal!

tags in CA are on the anniversary of the car being registered (usually purchase date for single owner cars such as Elf)
Having it expire on my birthday would suck. I want to RECEIVE gifts on my birthday, not send money to the DMV.

Nice---great write up dude.
80 mph mostly is what-- around 4K rpms? That engine is nice and happy there + no cooling issues at speed. Highway driving also keeps the oil free of condensation.
Yall have heard from others how well their car runs after a track w/e? There actually is a reason.
I agree that short trips, low rpm cruising and stop and go enviroment is not the best for the rotary.
