I got an '05 - Mine had to come in from another dealership since I was very picky in my search. It had a total of 62km on it... the total came to the same price a new '06 costs before taxes... In Canada.. retail is 40K for GT model + Pdi/taxes and what not.
So, my '05 costed me 40K on road inclusive of everything (with a tad more $$ for the crests and scuff plates).

the pricing is diff in canada than the us. sticker for mine (sport pack, nav) is like $31,800. nothing near yours for obivous reasons

Even if you're going to drive it at all in the winter, I'd say you get some winter tire. The stock tires on the 8 are notoriously bad in snow, and a lot of people have had accidents because they didn't get their winter tires on.
