My range is comparable in the city, up to 310 miles on the highway (provided I lock the cruise in at 73-73 mph to keep the rpm under 3750)...but that isn't too much fun.

You get a stage 1 map with a purchase directly from cobb. If you buy through MazdaManiac he supplies you with tuned maps for your setup. Same price either way.

For NA use, you can get a slightly leaner map (read: more power), but more than that, you can enjoy radiator fans turning on sooner, increase OMP flow, and delete CELs (if you're catless). It also functions as a CEL reader/reset, and can monitor odb2 sensors on your car plus do 0-60 and 1/4 mile numbers.

I haven't.... only plugged in the AP to reflash the ecu. After that I'm using scangauge2 or scanalyser.

My last tank yielded 255 gallons which was about 65-70% highway. I can live with it.

i'm getting about 260 mpt. i get on it usually. just under 50k. i didn't buy it because its good on gas...or i woulda bought a civic. i bought it cuz its fun. although my work van get the same mileage. guess im screwed either way as far as gas prices go. we are $3.85ish for premium in the seattle area...probably cheaper than the bay area, huh?

I used to get 190/tank.

I started premixing last tank and got 262miles on 13.x gallons.

This tank have 60 miles @ 3/4 tank left (premixed).

What is your ratio and what kind of driving do you do.

6th gear is there specifically for driving on the highway. It isn't good for anything else. Use it and you should get a little bit better mileage. Your mileage isn't great, but people here have worse

I do 8oz/tank.

I drive "suburb" meaning lots of 45mph roads with stop lights that are sometimes green, sometimes red. So it's like a 50/50 city/highway combo.

Use engine braking, don't go into neutral. Being in neutral uses gas and slowing down in gear does not.

the bigger question is how you can be on the highway at 3k rpm in 5th. I'm around 4k in 6th on the highway.

roads must be super slow there.

True, didn't even think about that. Must be a school zone the entire way to work...
