i got a manual, so i havent hit my limiter. 155. hmm. give me a long straight then yeah. cause ive hit 140 and the stock suspension really gets if-fee. im thinkin about gettin mazdaspeed suspension though.

Anyway, I have a 06 auto and under conditions that were safe for everyone but me, hit about 144, so unless thats a new limit in the 07's, 125 is not the max.

 

1st of all, you have a shinka, so are you sure its an AT? and second of all, convertible? wtf?

and don't care about other people saying that above 100= dangerous, blah blah

we all must have at least did it once, and please admit it, it feels god damn good doesn't it? unless ur 5billion years old, and you definitly don't drive an rx-8, maybe you confused your car with a mazda3?1.8l?

 

They do make AT Shinka's (the 06 is a 6speed).
The Convertible is a joke.

And driving a car faster then the posted HWY Speed is dangerous, reckless, and you could easily kill someone or yourself.

People who understand this drive more cautiously for the safety of your passengers and the people around you. You cant ask them to take the risk.

no, te shinka is only 05 and 06 i believe, as for the 07 rx8s, their fuel cut off is at 150......

 

reason for 125mph topspeed = OP is too chunky and weighing the car down.

 

When I owned a Z28 their were several times I would head out to the south of town and do 100+ mph passes. If you are on a two lane road with no inlets or outlets then the danger is to no one but yourself.

 

Anyone stupid enough and irresponsible enough to drive their car at 100+ mph speed on a public road deserves to lose their license for a very long time.
