I really like the way the 09s tails look, thought not much else. anyone have any info as to whether they will fit or not?

 

I don't think they will, if you look at the bumper line on the 04-08, the lights sit on a different line than on the 09 models...

 

look around and you will see your question has already been answered.

 

To put it lightly, it looks like bat crap.

blue shift, honestly, when i bought my 8 i wasnt thrilled with the taillights either. but they grow on your quickly and soon, the 09 tails will be unappealing to you because they are so normal and plain or something....the other day at work someone with an 09 parked their new car beside mine and i definitly like the 04-08 better. in fact the only thing i like about the 09 better are the seats and wheels that come wiht the R3 eddition. everything else that was "fixed" wasnt broken so meh.
