04 rx-8

i Just got mine friday,and i love it but i hear allot of people talking bad about 04 rx-8 can someone fill me in whats wrong with 04 rx-8?

Just use the search or run through the tech garage issues and problems section. Read the stickies.

We all use the same search function...just look harder...you'll find it. Just hope you don't get paranoid when you read the problems other people had with theirs.

Ha, I like your answers, one line zingers.

Anyway, I bought a used 04 MT GT, and if you get the recalls on the car checked out, you're good to go. There's nothing wrong with the '04.

All re-flashes & recall work done by Mazda already. Runs like a dream.

I have an 04 but my tranny fu*ked up 3 weeks ago and it is finally suppoosed to be done tomorrow! It only had 18,100 miles on it! IDK how it happened they changed almost every part in my tranny! No other problems though! Just make sure the recalls are done and you take care of it.

Don't get discouraged got a 04 in late Sept. of that year.............she's only got around 4500 miles on her to date, have had all recalls done which were nothing major I might add and she runs like a CHAMP!
