Then there was the cop on the last night run. I'm pretty sure everybody had an Oh **** moment when they passed him.

I will just lead the pack and hold my badge out the window and say let everyone go except the silver 8's. They just crash them anyway.

The trip was awesome; I only regret I couldn't have made it for the whole time. I arrived at O’ god it's pitch black thirty on Thursday night. I think I spent 45 minutes just looking for the cabin. But come Friday when that day's events started happening, it was all good.
The two dragon runs (1 up & 1 down) during the day rocked, then the 2 runs (1 up & 1 down) that night "scary rocked."
The Dragon run and the Skyway run the next day was a great finishing drive for the weekend.
All the booty donated by the various sponsors was awesome. Of the big prizes.. I came away with the DPEWeb gift certificate and the Maguiers (sp) kit.
Thanks again to Christina and James for saving me a Titan rx8 from the Mazda sponsors.
I will get my pictures of the car show posted soon for all to see.

Again, thank you to everyone for making this years event so great, and special thanks to James, Dave, Lee, Cherye, and Randy.

I would also like to thank, James, Dave, Randy, Lee and Cherye for their hard work during the event and all the planning involved prior (If I am forgetting anyone, Thank You).:D

I will put the Corksport brake and clutch line kit that I won to good use when I get a free weekend to tear my car apart

My new/used exhaust system that I picked up at the event is getting installed tomorrow, cannot wait to hear it.

pictures

Alright, I got pictures! Unfortunatly, We didn't get much of the entire group because we were only with you guys for 1 day (and most of that I spent on a river saving clemson rugby players... I will be sure to post these pictures once I get them). Here you go:

My pictures
Ernests' Pictures (Beretta GTZ)
Neils Pictures (3000GT VR4)

Thanks to everyone who put this thing together. I'm already looking forward to next year :D .

yea what was with all the puking this year?

you gotta warm up to it on the way there! only thing faster than a car full of luggage on NC 28 is a borrowed car!

BTW the REVi is installed now. DAMN. that thing is a work of art, both in form and function. many props to RB for not only designing it, but giving us one for free! i already emailed my praise and thanks to them.

I didn't see any mention, but did anyone have an in-car camera mounted for the dragon runs? I would love to see what the hype is all about!!

The official casuality/reaction report:

2 "over-powered" stomachs from the Dragon.

1 sunburn, and 1 woman overboard, from the whitewater rafting.

Several folks walking funny from the horseback riding.

Close calls, but no casualities from the archery.

2 cases of Alka Seltzer for various impediments.

15# of Bubba Burgers, 5# of hot dogs, and 8 cartons of soft drinks for the cook-out.

168 cups of coffee (only 68 if we don't count Feras).

1 Winning Blue on it's frame when the owner backed over the edge of the parking lot.

1 Big grin from the youngest Dragon driver - DavidT3 (16).

1 Bigger grin from his grandfather and oldest participant - DaveT (62)

2 bags of peanuts for Brian's and Lee's - "oh, I'll just have a couple".

1 substaintial donation to Red Cross due to the generosity of our sponsors.

0 = number of compliants.

1 Hellofa time had by all............... :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Hope to see you all in '06...

There are several videos BlueEyes. Day runs - camera forward. Day runs - camera rearward. Night runs, etc.

Generally there were 2 or 3 cameras running on each run. I'm sure they will be posted shortly.

There's some absolutely fantastic footage - keep watching

Yes, there is some video on it's way. The video wont do it justice though. You gotta drive it to really understand what the hype is about.

anyone use a videocamera which writes to a disc? I use a tape because the discs never worked with the vibrations, but maybe they improved them

I'd like to say THANKS to the organizers of this event. You guys did a GREAT job and tons of fun was had by all who attended. I can honestly say that the 10 hour trip over was well worth it.

See you guys in '06 and I plan to recruit more 8 owners to bring with me! :D
