Sorry for the questions but im keen to know what fuel you are using and what ignition setup you are using and what max boost you will tune to? Cheers.
Hey man, sorry for the delayed answer. I'm running on E-85 and I use the Esmeril Racing ignition. I don't have any ignition boxes etc but I would like to, at some point, get a DIS4. I will probably keep it between 20-25psi.

Below is an updated Pic. Working on tidying up the bay this winter.

Cheers!

Fly-by-Wire swap, aint nobody got time for that

At least your washer fluid wont ever freeze!

What's the black connector where the OE airbox would be? mounted on the front support brace?

ls1tech.com

Unfortunately not a build thread. The owner of the car appears to be from AUS. He only has a few posts in this thread.

DSC with FD engine

If you put in a turbo RX7 engine and so replace the ECU do you have to lose stability control (DSC) or is there some way of retaining it?

Depends on how clever you are with the wiring...

the simplified version is that you rewire the engine/fuel/ignition controls with a separate ECU and continue to use the factory PCM for everything else

it still amazes me how on most conversions nobody is smart enough to lay the radiator down V-style where the incoming airflow is. It's completely pointless to use a large radiator with the top 1/3 out of the airflow.

It's great to see someone finally deliver the goods, let alone do it well too. When do I get to go for a ride?
