13brew mandatory mods

I just blew my motor in the 8, (most likely oil control rings)

I want to put a rew in the 8. Can we get all modifications that are essential for the swap. From experience people only.

1-Cross member for the rew
2- ecu
3 motor

Is it possible to. Make a reshaped manifold for the stock twins, if we want stock power levels, and use the stock 6 speed at stock hp levels. ?

Search the build threads that already exist, it has been covered many times and there are many ways to accomplish the swap in different ways using different turbo setups and different transmissions.

You've been a member for how long and don't use the search feature? I mean this information is pretty easy to find, not to mention the signatures of the other guys in this thread have that kind of information(well Arca does, 9k is a turbo on a renny if memory serves).

This swap is definitely not for someone that can't think things through...and read a lot of how others have done it...and make that work in there situation.
You will need to have fabrication skills...including welding...or know a good welder.
A lot of thing will need to be modified on the fly...and you need to know how things work..or you will end up with a pile of parts and a lot of heartache

There will be a bit you need. Its by no means a cheap swap, and for going for stock fd power levels, frankly its a waste of money.

-Engine, rebuild materials
-Engine mount
-Transmission (probably)
-Clutch
-ECU
-Complete custom wiring harness
-If you are lowered aggressively, oil pan
-Radiator, intercooler, should do oil cooler as well
-Custom piping for intercooler, will need to modify coolant piping
-Upgraded injectors, fuel pump are a good idea (at this point you might as well tackle the fuel starvation issue)
-Stock twins would be a tight fit (if they even fit). Regardless, the heat they produce far outweighs the sequential benefit imo, better off going with a single turbo...
-Custom manifold and downpipe
-Wastegate(s), BOV
-Gauges (imo mandatory to monitor for issues)

There is probably a bit more. Its not cheap, even if you do it yourself. The more plug and play items you get, the more expensive this project will get. If you think about it, most of the engine bay will be removed and replaced.

So lower intake manifold must be swapped due to hood clearance ?
If the ess was located in original location could I do cobb or mazdaedit. Tuning ?

You will want to swap the lim to avoid contact with the firewall. You can cut or hammer it out of the way but I don't recommend that. You will need another ecu to control the 13brew so a full tune is in order.
