Greetings fellow rotary junkies.

RotaryCompressionTester.com

www.facebook.com/RotaryCompressionTester

Just wanted to say Hello to everyone, I'm a active member, now a vendor also.
We are moving rotarycompressiontester.com from Sydney, Australia to Mishawaka, IN USA
I will be posting more, have a pre-sale getting ready to start with freebies for you forum members.
I'm one of you, I have had over 15 rx7's bought my first 80' in 1987. I currently have both a 2004 Rx8 and 90' S5 Rx7 vert. I met a cool dude who knew his stuff when designing this tester. First I purchased one, used it. Then I bought the company.

The RCT-V5 Handheld Digital Rotary Compression Tester was developed by and tested on Stuart Turnbull's, Freaky Rx3(see Facebook page) from Australia.
It's a 1000 hp peripheral port, 4 Rotor twin turbo, methanol burning 7 second car that he built and drives. He"s a rotary engine builder also, Go listen it's wicked.

Around a 100 units already sold all around the world, couple dozen Australian drag teams use and rely on this tester.

I'm a legal corporation of (1). The assembly and testing of your RCT-V5 tester will done by me personally.

Go see our website and rotary compression tester Facebook page.

The Facebook page starts at the beginning of tester development till now.
Tons of pics and some videos, most answers to any ?'s you may have are more than likely covered somewhere.

Feel free to ask any questions!

Thanks for visiting and letting me be part of your forum. On Rx7 club site also

Stop in an say Hi hope to make many new friends. I need you and eventually you will need a compression test.
Two styles and several colors of silicone protective boots to choose from!

Only 1 unit has needed repair because of user error.

Have a great day everyone!

$350 same as the rest of them out there.
You will be getting more than just the tester and sensor itself.
Hard shell case

Stay tuned I'm trying to get the company logo finished before I give you the scoop.

Each one will come with a hard shell shock proof case to protect your unit and sensor when not being used.

Ignore the logo this is just a test case. Your case will sport the new company logo and model#.

Keep us updated. I'll probably be buying one. I've wanted Twisted Rotors unit, but he isn't doing this full time, so it's hard to find one.

I know I was going to originally buy one, then I seen this. I bought mine and did a couple compression test here locally. It paid for itself plus I did my own 2 cars.
I already knew Stuart was going to stop making them. The lightbulb came on! It was to good of a product to let it set on the shelf and waste away.
I asked him if he would sell me the company, in the end we came to an agreement.
Before that I turned to the wife and said can I buy a business, she rolled her eyes. Then I proceeded to tell her the price.
Last I told her it was halfway around the world!
The initial look wasn't good, but I didn't let that stop me.
I have a regular job also, but wanted something else to do, and I love those stupid spinning triangles.

So after my initial presale, depending on how many I sell.

I will have these in stock.
I already have orders in the works bringing parts to the USA.

OLD vs.NEW

The only reason I'm having a presale is to know if I need to order more stuff and give you some free stuff.

I've paid for the first round which is limited out of my pocket, and I have more than a couple already spoken for.

The response has been a bit overwhelming between both sites.
Thanks,
You guys Rock!

misterstyx69: on rx7club.com said "it looks simple to use.

Just sharing info between the two.

It is, First warm up the engine to normal temperature.
Then just pull both plugs top or bottom, virtually no difference between leading or trailing plug holes.
(See Facebook video). Pull the ignition and fuel pump fuses or disable both.
Give it a couple turns of the engine to rid itself of any fluids.
Pick a rotor and hand tighten sensor(only) in plug hole.
Plug sensor into tester cord, turn on unit. Wait for it to say begin cranking hold throttle wide open.
Crank engine till Real time cranking sequence finishes, and it will pop up all three compression readings in PSI and actual cranking RPM.

The cord is long enough you can set in the driver seat and do the test yourself!

These readings need to be normalized to 250rpm using a compression calculator accounting for elevation, engine type/actual rotor compression.

I have my plate full but have someone looking into making my own app for this, for Google play and iPhone. You will be able to save, export or whatever you want.

Thanks for the interest everyone!

You guys rock.👍

We will have the PayPal links ready on the website and everything changed over soon, hopefully start presale Monday.
If you need other ways to pay like Amazon or credit cards you guys have to let me know so I can get it set up.

This went from me buying a tester, to owning the company in @ 6 weeks that flew by. It takes a minute or two to move a everything halfway around the world.
This is not something I'm throwing together for you guys I've worked to hard to get to this point.
I have 3 things involved in the presale that I need my logo for it should be done tomorrow or Friday.

It's coming soon I promise.

I had a PM question I thought I would share.
"How accurate is it?"
To start the pressure sensor is 99% accurate 40-140psi.
The sensor we use was designed by him and is manufactured for use with our testers only. (Not some off the shelf sensor).
There are no bulky sensor adapters like other testing units, so we have virtually no dead volume between sensor and tester.

Here is a look at part of the encrypted code required to give you all three individual compression readings and cranking Rpm. Written by Chris at Classified Performance in Australia.

Here is a shot of them testing it.

I think they nailed it!

Anymore ?'s feel free.

Have a great day everyone!
