Racing Brake BBK's, Rotors, and Pads!!
Talking on the phone today with Racing Brake they really are stepping up their game and supporting this community.
We had discussed issues with the Rotor hats rubbing and they are currently in change of production to make the lower offset Rotor hats 2.5mm further from the ball joint to alleviate any issues of rubbing on the rotor.
So if anyone is having any issues with their deeper offset rotors we will be happy to send out new Rotor hats to them for no charge.
And as always we are stocked on pads and lines and rotors and ready to go!
For the remainder of this Month anyone wanting to get into a BBK from Racing Brake will get 15% off their entire order if they order a complete set Front BBK and rear Rotors and Pads!

That is correct!
If you need new rotor hats due to rubbing issues you would get new adapters for mounting the caliper and Rotor Hats.
Not to mention the hardware needed for the change as well!
So lets support the Company that supports our community!

Thanks also for looking into this, Brice!
Already have a set they sent me in stock so I can pass that along to you no worries, going out today.
As a side note THIS ONLY APPLIES TO THE DEEPER OFFSET BBK KIT.
All standard Sport Rotors and Two Piece Rotors are fine.
Thank you for communicating me on this, I talked to Mike from Racing Brake and we are all ears.
We need to pinpoint exactly what the issue is then we can go forward.

Was at the track yesterday and the brakes performed superbly. I find them to be firmer than OEM, not softer. No fade at all. Very happy with them.

Yeah it was an odd occurence that Racing Brake has not seen before.
"Regarding the customer with the hardware interfering with the bracket. The only solution we have is to ask the customer to use a dremel tool or file to slightly file down either the hardware, or the caliper bracket. The interference is minimal, so grinding need only be minimal. The brackets come from the Mazda factory as they are cast, with slight variations from bracket to bracket. Before this incident (as well as another incident with a 350z driver that might be related), we hadn’t heard of this problem before."

Appreciate the follow-up, Brice. I did confirm that the rear nuts were in contact with the OE brackets, which would explain the scraping noise coming from the rear. This morning, I used a dremel to file down the rotor hardware. Double checked to verify that everything cleared.
Took the car out for a drive. Noise from the rear is eliminated. However, I determined that clunking sound was not related to the rear interference issue. The noise is indeed coming from the front. Again, it's a clunking sound only at low speed braking. As if the caliper pistons are slamming against the rotor, like turning a deadbolt lock.

^^^ I was wondering the same thing, when I first opened the kit I was like where is the piston, after a couple secs I figured that it was there , as thin as it is though...
