I already have my kit installed but I wonder if you would consider offering the kit with different size lines and/or different hose ends (all 90deg for example)? With the lines being so dificult to bend, having the proper length is very important. I had to shorten mine to mount in my prefered location.

I have seen it mounted in 3 places so far,

Passenger side top (most common)
Drivers side low
Battery Location (Turbo Build)

Here is a link to the other thread on this topic that has install pictures:

Ooohhh the hoses are long enuf to reach to the battery area?

I might try that .... relocating the battery to the trunk and removing the airbox has freed up a tonne of space.

It does come with the black bracket in the first pic, this customer spent another $10 for a special modification he needed to do.

how much more difficult is it to install the none black one ? or is it just a matter of patience. And if i were to put it by my KN intake would any cutting or adjustment need to be done ?

The blue/red with silver lines are not as flexible as the black lines so it would make it more difficult to move around and route but not too much.

I am sure if you are mounting it by the intake some sort of modification would be needed, however it does come with brackets so at most you may just need to drill through the shield to secure the filter base.

Received my kit yesterday, thank you Brice! and nice T-shirt too

I will mount the kit in a temporary location this weekend, and will get some laser cut bracket made for the RHD rx8, it's more difficult to mount in a RHD due to the water bottle and brake booster being in a different spot compared to LHD rx8, so see how I go.

Do these use stock oil filters or do I have to switch to a Freddy filter?

Oh no, don't tell me that's a Fram filter in that picture. I spy orange with that tacky black grip top..

And you should be able to use your stock filter just fine with it. Just like a stock one in the pics.

You can use the stock oil filter without issue.
