Yet another, "Should I?" thread...

Well, what better way to have my first post on here concerning about the Rx8 I should get? Haha, anyway..

It's an 04, MT, brilliant black with black interior, and 93k mi. Looking around here, the 93k seems like a not so bright idea. Especially at $11,500..

I asked about it's warranty, and was delighted to hear it has a 2 year warranty. The engine just might not last long, and with someone who goes for random cruises as much as I do, I could definitely see myself pushing it till it's engine dies within 2 years.

It's a standard 2 year powertrain warranty, so that makes up for the 100k mi warranty about to expire.

But, however, I don't know if that's necessarily the best move. I don't know the maintenance record on it, and won't know until I get the VIN from it.

I've searched for states around actually, up and down the east coast, and I just like this one best. I don't know why, but it just stands out to me(But I've read on here of a few standing out in searching for months, just the same, to other members...) Then the mileage on it is a turn of, especially for an 04, but it does have a pretty lengthy powertrain warranty, which makes up for it, in my opinion...

What also helps is, I don't have any form of a credit history, and this dealership has guaranteed approval for financing, and a down payment I can easily afford. Heck, if I wanted to, I could go by and pick the car up in the morning even.

But, alas, I do have semi-cold feet. Should I get this one, and enjoy it till it's engine inevitably goes, and take advantage of the two year warranty? Or should I hold off?

Ah, for what it's worth, this is a picture of the one I'm looking at.

Oh, hey, I'm Matt by the way. Owned an 88 Mx6 in the past, and own a 94 LS now, along with an 88 Rx7 GTU.

Aside from the Rx8, I've been looking occasionally at the new gen Mx-5's. But I'd rather have an Rx8, even if a vert that should last past 100k mi without any thoughts about it is tempting..

Regardless, thanks for reading my ever so winded post. What's your opinion's on this one? I'm just a little intimidated about an investment such as this.

Edit:
I guess I posted too soon. Been following it for over a week, with it not being at the dealership, and being told it was out for cleaning, detailing, and other such things, I just got told it arrived back today, with a new engine installed in it, all sensors replaced, and paperwork to prove it. Sent down to Mazda in Atlanta, and backed by a factory warranty still, with another 2 year warranty on top of it.

Pretty sure it'll be the one I go with in the end now.

No way you could do a lot better then an '04 with 93k for that price. I wouldn't pay more then $9k tops. I just sold my '05 Grand Touring MT Brilliant black w/ 65k for $11,500.

Ah, how hard would it be to get another one financed? Considering I have no credit history, or anything of the such.

Defiantly way too many miles. Even if the car is well maintained, that's a lot of miles on a car, and at a very high price. You'd loose money in the long run if you decide to sell the car again.
