Keep the 8?
Keep the 8?
Hello, I'm sort of new to the Rx8 Club, but I've lurked for a while.
I currently own a 2004 Mazda Rx8 Grand Touring with 68,000 miles, I've owned the car for a while and I really love the car, but there's something about the 09-10 R3's that really intrigues me. There's nothing wrong with the car at all, but I don't know if I should upgrade to a 2009 Mazda Rx8 R3 or not. Keep in mind, I'm only 19 years old and my Rx8 was my first car and I was never in an accident, but I don't know if my insurance will go up on a newer car. Also, is there a difference between an 04 Rx8 and an 09? Besides the recalls.

A third oil injector and different front bumper look, and the addition of the R3 base which provides different rims and sport suspension package.
