Im still debating on why I should get GT w/ Nav or just get GT or Touring. Any inputs would help. Thanks.

You can put in a carputer with a GPS nav etc, etc, etc.....for less than the facory nav....

 

I have to agree with danno, there are better systems out there for a fraction of the price. GT package in my opinion if going new.........But if you are looking at used then touring pkg cars can be had for a more competive price. Just my two cents.

 

Ok so no nav. I was quoted 28,500 for a '05 touring 6 speed. Is this a good deal?

 

no. try to make them go down to 26,500 or 27k at most. even lower would be great

 

Remember Im trading in my auto 8... I'm looking about 4k added to the new loan.

 

Hmn..that's not too bad... How much is that over/under invoice? I can't remember really, but isn't that near invoice for the touring package? Is that with the appearance package and/or rear spoiler too?

I think I was quoted right around 30 for an 05 GT.

Actually..I'm agressively searching for a used rx8... I think right now is an akward moment because the new 06's will be coming out shortly, there's still some new 04's straggling around, and on top of that there aren't any incentives or rebates available. Well.there's the Gerber , but I've yet to see it in my inbox...

I'm rather stuck too,because a used 04 with low miles , most are still asking right around 24.5-27k , and I've been quoted 25.5 on a new 04 . I think the market will start to adjust to this and once the 06's come around the 04's will drop even more and the 05's should start moving into their place. So it might better for you to wait for that and pay off more on your car..of course then there's the fact that your car will be depreciating also, so it might not even matter... Now I'm rambling :P

Im upside down by 4,800 so whatever is the total of touring mt + 4800 then tax/tag. He mentioned 100 above invoice and if I down 3,500. If I remember correctly 31500 or 33,500 out the door.
