I know Carfax can tell me title history using a VIN number.

Can a Mazda dealer tell me what recalls have been performed on an 8 from the VIN #?

Looking to buy one if the dealer negotiates just right. It's not from a Mazda dealer though.

JM1FE173450154932 is the VIN in case one of you guys can check the info.

I know they can look up the VIN on my car and tell me what work has been done, by each of the previous owners. I don't know if they'll do it for a car that doesn't belong to you though.

Call a dealer and find out!

Hrm... nothing in the repair & maintenance log, so does this mean none of the TSB's have been performed on it?

There is only 1 recall listed as well "RX-8 Engine loss of power"

Thankfully, it only has 21k miles on it, so warranty should cover everything that needs to be done to it, right?

That only works if the owner him/herself has entered the data. It's an ower's database hosted by Mazda.

As cited, any dealer can pull up all of the work done, by VIN.
