I found a 04 rx8 and I'm really thinking about buying it but I need to know what to look for at the dealership it has 112000 miles on it and the want 7995 so any good advice I'll take. Thank in advance.

 

save another thousand or 2, get one with 60k miles.
Otherwise offer them $6,000. Make a point that it is no longer under warranty and youre in.

 

Make sure the title is clean and everything. Get the Carfaqs and see if the engine has been replaced in it before, or if it has had any accidents. That is the best way to judge the car. Maybe you will get lucky and it had a recent engine replacement.

You might be able to talk them down depending on where you live. It's winter time and rear wheel drive sport cars might not be selling like hot cakes. If you have the cash then it shouldn't be a problem.

 

that's on the odometer. The engine could be a different story
