I picked it up the end of August. I think I took some mistakes.

What I want exactly was brought Fremont (almost 170miles far from my place)
So the dealer reported the starting ordometer is 198miles to DMV.
I am worrying that people think there is some problem according to the carfax when I will sell this car, even though initial ordometer said 23miles.
Can I change the reported mileage to DMV again?

Next one is I just checked the last 5 digits of VIN is above 30000.
Mine is 33XXX. So I thought it's ok. HOWEVER I just found the date on tag of drivers side rear door says 02/04..... :-(
Is it build date? If yes, I would be very depressed. My car seems to be left as much as 6 months. I feel disguised.
BTW, do I need to get M-flash in this case?

 

nothing to worry about...I have an 05/03 build date...all the updates are covered under warranty and is a nice way to get to know your service guys (so you get a nice install of your Mazda Turbocharger in a year or two ) plus most dealers give you a free loaner or rental car
