Hell no...not for that kind of money. You can buy one with a clean title for a little more. I would say you are buying yourself a lot of trouble.

Ick, run away. It has the potential to have serious issues in the coming months/years. Who knows what caused the Salvage Title, and who knows if they are going to tell you the truth :P

Personally, Salvage titles should 1/2 the price give or take.

don't get a salvage title. wait a few more months and save up the cash for a newer, clean titled one

If you get a salvaged car you might as well drive it until the wheels fall off because pretty much no one would buy it nor could you go and trade it in.

I bought my 8 salvaged/rebuilt. This is still the best car I've owned so far. Not a single problem with it, and I got it for a steal with bonus mods.

Mine was accident though, not flood /water damage. I'd be more worried about a flood salvage.

u need to spary A LOT OF disinfectent thing into the whole A/C system. It happens to a lot of cars, not salavge only ASK ME HOW I KNOW !

to fix something like that u gotta make sure theres no water in there first, then u have to find the A/C inlet, then just spary the disinfectent thing in there and turn A/C to low and keep running it for 5-10 minutes (keep sparying) then shut it off and u should not get smells anymore

but still , I aint going to pay 14-15 K for a salvage title car.

Just wanted to show you what a OEM shifter looks like so you don't think we are pulling a rib on you.

^ lol nice

Anyway one rule you should always stick to is when you're going out to buy a used car, the first thing you should look for is if the car comes with a CLEAN/CLEAR title. If not, it's time to move on my friend...

Sometimes it's worth it if you get the car for $10k less, provided you check the history behind the salvage title. You could be surprised...

Personal preference at this point. I've seen both good and bad experiences with salvage. But if you get a good deal like I did and get it checked out, you just might have an extra 10k in your pocket and a great ride. No regrets on my salvage purchase.

Though for sure get it checked out, find out the reason for the salvage title, try to get pictures if you can, etc. Never touch water damage.

i would never buy a salavaged or water damaged car unless i could get it for dirt cheap, but then i would only use that car for parts.
