I just totalled my GT mustang a few months ago.. They hit me with some bs citation.. i didnt feel like going to court for it, i'm only 19, they could've hit me up with something alot worst then a 160$ fine over the phone.. lol, So i just paid it.. But i'm sure it went towards my driving record..

"Improper Lane Change", Wonder what my insurance will be for an 8

Yeah... Mine's cheap too. It added $600/year to my premium. 6m/t. I'm 32, married, no tickets since '95, and three cars on the policy.

I talked my Mom into putting herself as primary driver on the car... Insurance companies don't seem to care, they did it for me actually! She's over 50, clean record... Multiple car, etc., with Mercury. 100k/300k liability, $100 comprehensive / $500 collision deductible, insurance comes out to a measely $316 per 6 months. Of course I'm on one of her older cars, but some people over 25 should be able to get better rates on the 8. I got my quote through AIS -- www.aisinsurance.com (might only be a California thing).

25 yrs old
$82 per month
1 totalled car on my record no tickets, my insurance prior to the accident was $80 a month. I'll take a 2dollar increase for a 25k payout. Even I think it is weird that it doesn't cost more.

Full coverage 100k/500k, 500 dollar deductible and rental is covered

Damn...this is depressing the hell out of me. I'm 24, one ticket for speeding almost three years ago, but I actually live *in* Philly. $1125/6 months, which is not as bad as it could've been, I guess, since we have some of the highest insurance rates in the country. Damn Jersey ;-)

I live in Miami, FL and pay $989.00 for 6 months. This includes 25/50/25 with 500 deductible (Full Coverage). I also have a clean driving record and am 23 years old. It sucks living in a big city (when it comes to insurance rates hehe).

I traded a 2000 Pontiac Firebird for my new RX-8 and my rate went DOWN. I asked the guy if that was right. He said the RX is smaller and weighs less and therefore gets in less accidents. And that parts and labor were less when it had to be fixed. I wasn't going to argue with him.

Actually it went up just a little because when I told them I was leasing I had to get more coverage. But only $70/6 months. And they mentioned if I took defensive driving it would go down lower than it was before.

My wife and I on two cars Grand Prix and RX is now $175/month. Geico.

It's a 4 door!!!

29 unmarried male philadelphia (think NJ-esque rates!!)
$1217/6 months for 100/300 with Progressive

By comparison, my '98 Jeep Cherokee (same policy) was $2800/year for 2003 and 2100/year in 2004 with Amica.

oh yeah--last ticket was almost 14 years ago, no chargable accidents.

wow you are 29 and it still $1217/6months? that's pretty high even though it doesn't come near what i was quoted. :o NJ sux! I plan to move out of NJ soon as i have enough money saved up for a house. I'm a dedicated automobile/motorcycle fan and I can't be waisting money on insurance like this. :p
