Hi,

I am curious if anybody qualified for a recent graduate rebate without actually being a recent graduate in terms of timeframe. I have been out of school for 2 years... According to the dealer, I can qualify, but according to Mazda's site, I cannot. What is up with that?

I think it depends on the dealership. I have seen ads in the paper from two different Mazda dealerships. One offered the rebate to those within 2 years of graduation, and up to 2 years after graduation. The other dealership offered it only up to six months after graduating.

I got mine in early March. I graduated May, 2004. They offered it to me without me suggesting it even.

 

I'd be careful and I'd stick to Mazda NA's rules. They can override any dealer. The dealership can give you the rebate now, but might charge you back for it later.
