Isn't the point of the R3 to have just the performance options in mind? I think you guys have the wrong Idea of the R3. No unnecessary options to weigh it down, if your a driver then you see what I see in it. Yeah it may be over priced but it has a different suspension in it. If the price changes your mind then go for it, if options move you also just change your mind....It's a sports car after all right? I think the R3 is the sportiest version offered yet for the RX8 other then the baseline previous models. You can agree or disagree but If I had the money I would go for the R3 without a question.

I actually like the R3, simply because it is a pet peeve of mine that I had to get the sunroof, that eats into my headroom, in order to get the seats I wanted in my 2004 Touring. To me, if there had been an option in 2004 to delete the sunroof from the Touring package, I'd have jumped at it!

I'm 6 foot 2 and I really don't want a sunroof, plus my Civic has one and I hardly use it so whats the point? I don't need options to please me, I would go for a different car if I wanted it for options.
