Purchasing Used - what about outstanding TSB's?
I'm considering purchasing a used 04 which is obviously out of warranty (save for the warranty on the engine core).
What happens if I take this to a Mazda dealership for evaluation and find out there are multiple TSB's that haven't been taken care of?
Since there is no warranty, is the Madza dealership still obligated to address these issues free of charge?
I want to make sure that I won't have any surprise charges.
Thanks,
Mike

TSB's are there to advice the service tech on how to repair a problem. Once your car is out of warranty, it is your responsibility to pay for repairs. The TSB's will keep labor costs down as the tech won't have to troubleshoot and search for the way to repair this problem.
