I'm 39 and I remember those days when I was <25 and paying a fortune for auto insurance.

In the mid-80's I was in my early 20's and shopping around for full-coverage insurance on my 1980 Volkswagon Scirocco. Best I could find at that time was $150 per month. I had one traffic ticket.

Lower insurance is one of the few good things about getting old.

How much would a car like this cost a month for insurance for somebody that is 25 years old. Im investing money into stalks and going to put down a huge down payment on it. Use the money to pay for it and the tag.

$1400/6 months for two cars

2004 Rx8
2003 Mustang

50/100/50, $500 deductible
USAA

it's higher than if I had gotten insurance on my own since my lovely husband isn't exactly the best driver in their book ... bad bad boy.

What insurance company do you use. I'm 20 years old with a perfect driving record.

you do realize location is a huge factor in insurance, the difference between a suburb and a city can be a factor of 2.

SHOP AROUND!

I've been given such a huge influx on insurance rates. So far progressive is the highest at $1800/6 months. The lowest (so far) is Liberty Mutual at $880/12 months. Big time difference! Also I'm 26 years old, live in LA, and have had (hmmm hmmm) several speeding tickets!

This is complete bulls**t. I have no tix, no accidents, and I live in a rather rural town with virtually no crime, and I pay more in 3 mos. than Jgellsworth pays in a year. I hate New Jersey's Insurance regs, and I hate people who commit insurance fraud. I love to catch them in action and wish I could catch them all.
