Hey guys, I might be picking up a 2005 RX-8 for around 9 grand. It has 71,000 miles, has been a one owner car, has most service records on file, clean title, all work done at 2 particular Mazda dealerships, and is in very good cosmetic condition. (as far as I can see)

What do you guys think?

 

Still take it to a mazda dealer and have them check it out. Pay the 50 bucks, its worth it. 6-speed or automagic. Isnt a terrible price, but it all depends on the inspection.

 

It's a manual. And yeah, I'll be sure to take it to a Mazda dealership to check it out too.

 

If it checks out alright at the dealership, i say go for it.

Fifty bucks sounds a bit cheap for the dealer to check it out. Can anyone confirm that price? How long do you have to wait for them to check it out? Or does it depend on how many people are at the dealership?
