New User just purchased my '04 RX8!

Hi guys, this is my first time posting, so sorry if this is the wrong spot for this, but I couldn't see any other spot to put it. Just bought my RX8 yesterday and am going to pick it up tomorrow. Got the Winning Blue with fully loaded GT package for 25,800 out the door price. After months of searching for a good price I felt this was the best I could do. I plan on having the RX8 purely for a weekend car and working on mods during the winter.

Great site by the way, very informative and organized. Bear with me while I learn where everything is, and I look forward to talking wit you guys about this truly awsome car.

Congratulations on your purchase. That sounds like a great price. Did you get a 6-speed? Hope you continue to enjoy all the neat information that can be found here.

Yeah got the 6spd, sorry forgot to post that. I see you live in Michigan, I'm down in Toledo, Ohio, are there any good tuning shops close by(assuming you live near the Ohio border)? Or if anyone else knows of a good shop somewhere near me I wouldn't mind supporting it.

Sorry Phil, I'm not very intimate about details of any tuners that are experienced in rotary engines, however, there is a fellow on this board Charles Hill who appears to be from Detroit that seems to be very familiar with modded rotaries (I believe his 8 is pretty heavily modified). I am sure he could probably help. I would be interested in getting that kind of info too because my 8 will be a long-termer for me.

Hey Phil Z, wondering how you got such a great deal. Did you have to finance through MAC in order to get their incentives?
