New Car, Snow Tire?

New Car Three Weeks Old, In Tacoma, Washington State. Do I Need Snow Tire Here. It Snow Like 1 To 5 Inches A Year, But We Do Get Black Ice On The Road.

Definatley , even with DSC on the back end will be all over the place and you any inclines in the road surface will set you back a bit too.

Well wait, if you only get 1-5 ALL YEAR... you might not. Its true that with 1-5 inches on the ground at once, you won't be going very far on the stock summer tires. But if you only get a few dustings per year, and you can get just a little bit of flexibility to not drive in the snow, you might not need them at all.

Get a good set of all weather tires such as Pirelli P-Zero nero. Those will give you good wet weather traction as well which should also be a concern for you.
