New Buyer - Need Opinions Please!
Hey everyone, I'm a newbie here and have been researching on buying an 8 for about a month and a half now.
I was able to find a 2005 Winning Blue (brand new) with Grand Touring Package M/T, and Rotary Accent Package for $25,200 + Tax, Title, License. Do you guys think this is a good deal, or are they going for cheaper? I figured after tax title and license, I'm out a total of $27000 or so....just wondering if I should jump on that price, or wait a while.
They also had a 2005 Winning Blue (brand new) with Touring Package M/T, Rear Wing Spoiler, and Rotary Accent Package for $24,700. Is this one a good deal?
Which one would you go with, the GT or the Touring? Thanks for the info everyone!!

Grand touring is nice 'cos you get leather. Up to you if its worth the extra.
05 GTs were going for significantly less than that about 3 months back. I got mine for $25 & change, out the door (i.e. including TT&L). Do a search in this forum around the end of Feb' thru' early April, and you should find a lot of folks who got $8k off MSRP. Print out, take to dealer, and haggle!
I'm not a fan of the accent packages but some folsk like 'em. Seems like a lot of $$ for a couple of tin-foil cuts outs.

Hey ALP, thanks for the info, I will definitely do that. Doesn't make sense to me why they would increase the price of an aging model now....greedy dealers hehe. Hopefully I can strike a deal with them.

yea, greedy!!
once you buy it...or if you do, you'll instantly have over a years worth of depreciation.
Me thinks more than a bit too much and unfair considering that it is over a year old in the fiscal sense.

Hey guys, what do you think about a 2005 Titanium Gray MT GT with Rear Wing, for $24,995 + TTL? Is this a good deal, or you think I can get the dealer to go lower?
Edit: Invoice on this one was $32,040
