MAC interest Rates?

Does anyone know what the rate range is for MAC right now?

What's the lowest rate we've seen on purchases?

I'm about to take delivery of mine and I'm wondering if it might be worth giving MAC a second look for the $1,000 cash incentive...

I have great credit and was told 8.25 was the best mazda offered in mid-july.

Too bad too, cuz it made my decision to wait for an 06 really easy...if the dealer was lying to me(about the rate), someone please let me know!

In the US I believe the current going rate for those with good credit is about 4.9% on the RX-8.

No matter what MAC is offering just take the rebate. Just refinance the loan with your credit union or whomever you want the next day.

mac int

we just purchased o5 rx8 and we got the 1,000 rebate and the int. was 7%
. after you make 3 payments you can refinace to another lender at a lower int rate ... as long as you have less than 6,000 miles on the car , I hope this helps

In late July one dealer quoted me 6.6% and another 6.1% for their "best" MAC financing. Btw, when I finally bought, I didn't see any fine print saying how long I had to keep the loan to keep the $1000 rebate. It appears I could pay it off immediately if I wanted. So take the rebate, and then pay it off or refinance if the MAC rate isn't as good as you wanted.

I just purchased a Mazda last night. I used the Mazda Financing in order to receive the rebate. The lowest rate offered (for customers with high credit scores) was 6.25%. No penalty to pay-off and refinance to a lower rate.

How deos the MAC rate work? The dealership i went to, Autobarn Evanston IL, quoted me 8+% in july and my credit score is way above the magic number...do different dealerships get different rates? Different areas? What's the deal? Is there a publicly stated minimum that is posted anywhere like they do with incentives?
