Looks like the RX-8 lease carries over until 8/1 + $1k MAC cash
They updated the promo specials on the MazdaUSA web page. The 24 month lease appears the same as before:
2005 RX-8 6-Speed $299/Month, 24-Month Lease, $2,599 due at Lease Signing after $2,000 cash back*. Includes 1st Month’s Payment and Security Deposit. Excludes taxes, title and fees.**
* The Amount due at Lease Signing is higher in the following states: Connecticut ($3,257); Massachusetts ($3,356); Rhode Island ($3,422); Virginia ($2,994); and West Virginia ($3,011).
** Dealer participation required. Not all lessees will qualify for lowest payment through Mazda American Credit. Some payments higher, some lower based on residency and other factors. Not available for NY residents. Lessee responsible for excess wear and mileage over 24,000 at $0.15/mile. Total payments of $7,176. Purchase option at lease end for $15,364. Take new retail delivery from dealer stock by 8/01/05. See participating dealer for qualifications.
The web page now also list the $1,000 in MAC cash - which was already available on the lease (actually, $2k is available if you lease), but now appears to be available if you MAC finance.

Note that the MAC lease is a LOW below market rate, and the MAC finance rate is likely to be ABOVE market rate. If you plan on doing a loan check your numbers and decide if you are better off with your own financing rather than a higher rate and another $1k off the car.
