Anyone have any suggestions on other carriers that may be cheaper. I do understand that insurance quotes are individually specific, but if anyone knows how the insurance companies have the car classified, it may be a starting point to find the lowest rates.
Thanks
Why are you going cheap with insurance don't because one day your gonna get fucked with the rx8 if you kill someone they won't go after the insurance they'll come aFter you and your family and everything you own

Too bad you don't own a time machine that can go back 12+ years.

Nothing wrong with comparing rates for the same service between different companies. Honestly depends on what you are comfortable with yourself. I have friends with the lowest possible insurance and while I do try to persuade them, it's ultimately their choice.

Go easy on the streets, know the rules and watch your surroundings carefully, that's really all there is to it.

In CA, mine was classified as 4 door coupe. Through Geico, my premiums are 450 for 6 months. Mid 30s, clean driving record.
