If I Order One Now....

How long will it take to get here? My sales guy said they won't do another manufacturing 'run' of this car for a few more months and I might not get one until september, if I order it from the factory. Problem is no one seems to stock any of the blues!!!! Will it really take that long?

the 06s should be on the boat now floating to the States (if u're in USA)

Tell ur Salesman he can shut his mouth. but I suggest you to wait a little since new 06 gonna cost you a little more. If you cant wait just grab one of the 05s.

I guess 2007 production begins here in just a few months. I've been hassling my dealer about a GT without a Sunroof but looks like it isn't going to work.

Good luck... unless MNAO changes the specs for US distribution, that ain't gonna happen. Been there, tried the same thing a while back - no go. This is available everywhere else except the US
However, you can get such a car in Canada - but then you have to put up with importing it.

From what I understand, they build these cars in batches. And the current batch of 06's have been in stock at many dealerships for a month or more (at least in the north east) and that if you order one from scratch, its not getting built until the next production batch. And I was also told that 06's have much better incentives than the 05's, at least when it comes to leasing. Of course tomorrow is the last business day of my lease and I'm still trying to get a hold of my sales guy, i might be walking to work for a while.

I wouldn't be surprised if it takes that long to order. If it is worth it to you then order... but you can just shop for the incoming 06's or open up your search to neighboring states and try to grab a deal on the 05's.

Why not ask friendsatmazda to do a lookup of all dealership in the US for the specific one that you want? They can see what's available in the US, what's on the boat, what's in production, they can probably locate what you want.

Too late, i'm now the <s>proud</s> regretful owner of an Acura TL. My lease was up and my dealer wouldn't return my call and I NEEDED a car.
