I know I wanna buy an Rx8...
..but I wanted some advice about things I should look/look out for. I want a preferably stock one (04 or 05) with under 20k miles. I want either winning blue or silver/gray. And I want an automatic(don't tell me I should get a manual, I'm not good enough at driving manual an I don't plan on learning on it)

I JUST Bought an RX-8
I drove I think 6 used Rx-8's, from 2004 with 25K to 2006 Shinka with 17K. Mileage is not the issue, care is the issue.
Watch out for broken consoles and interior pieces--shows lacks of love for the car.
Watch out for worn seats--shows, well, that it was not a small driver.
Watch out for high clutch take up (if you get a clutch)--shows either abuse or bad driving, one dealer told me they replaced one at 5K due to lack of experience
Watch out for sticky shifter (if you get a manual)--shows bad technique I am guessing
Watch out for alignment--shows they did not pay attention to or listen to the car
Watch out for worn rear tires--shows that they drove it right ;-) but that they did not maintain it by rotating tires, indicative perhaps of other issue.
I prefer the newer headlights--on a low car the better bulbs make a big difference.
I need to get it past break in but at 35K per year that I drive, that won't take long.
Complaints on low end torque? Don't shift so soon.
Complaints on gas mileage? Shift sooner.
Love the car, kids love the car, mom loves the car. What a combination. 14 year thinks it will be his in 2 years. Not a chance but he can keep dreaming.
Looking forward to watching and contributing.

1935 lbs. FTW!
Too bad you're looking for an auto because I have a 17,350 mile 05 Winning Blue in my garage that I think you would like. It's pristine without a single scratch/ding and like new.
I would highly reccomend not getting an 04/05 auto if you go that route though, lots of engine failures. One guy is on his FOURTH engine. Go for the 6 port auto in 06+ or any year manual.
